He asked that the administration follow up with the rental guidelines and <br /> final rates once those are established. <br /> Public Comment <br /> Toni Gelsomino - 17609 Lakewood Heights Blvd. spoke as the former Director of Human <br /> Services and shared her experience renting space to groups at the former senior center. She <br /> advocated for rental rates that support ongoing maintenance to keep Cove the highly desirable <br /> space it is today. She applauded the city for considering the many aspects of space rental, as it <br /> has in this discussion, and spoke to the many complexities of it. <br /> Councilmember Baker advocated for a portion of the rental fees to be placed into a capital fund <br /> for facility improvements. <br /> Motion by Chair Rader, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to substitute Ord. 28-2022 with <br /> the printed version provided. Salisbury and Elizabeth W. Salisbury, property owners of 15700 <br /> West Shore Court, Lakewood, Ohio, in furtherance of a neighborhood <br /> beautification proposal. <br /> Assistant Law Director Swallow explained that after further consideration, the Law Department <br /> determined that this beautification project can more easily move forward as part of Keep <br /> Lakewood Beautiful's Adopt a Spot program. She has connected the Salisbury family with Keep <br /> Lakewood Beautiful and does not anticipate a need for legislative action. <br /> Motion by Chair Rader, seconded by Councilmember Baker to table Resolution 2022-39.
