Assistant Law Director Swallow gave an example of how the law department could track certain <br /> fees. Within the Criminal Nuisance Process, hourly rate can be applied to every employee that <br /> may be responsible for responding to damaged equipment. Schedules are used to go back and <br /> collect insurance and information. While this process had not been utilized across the board with <br /> every fee, the law department is able to use a similar process to track building fees. <br /> Councilmember Bullock expressed his support for using a process similar to the Criminal <br /> Nuisance Process to keep track of the building fees. <br /> Assistant Law Director Swallow suggested a change to Ordinance 31-2022 to raise the threshold <br /> to the discussed $15,000 instead of the original $10,000 proposed. <br /> Councilmembers Bullock and Kepple agreed to making this change and suggested that <br /> Commissioner Parmelee provide a recap of his calculations to the full Council. <br /> Councilmember Kepple made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Bullock to strike the <br /> number 10 from the $10,000 threshold originally proposed and change the threshold to $15,000. <br /> All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> Councilmember Bullock made a motion, seconded by Councilmember Kepple to recommend the <br /> amended version of Ordinance 31-2022 to full Council for adoption. All members voted in favor. <br /> Motion passed. <br /> Housing, Planning, & Development Committee adjourned at 7:44 p.m. <br />
