6.02 Violations of Section 6.01 of this Article shall be proper cause for discipline up to and <br />including termination. <br />6.03 The Union shall, at all times, cooperate with the City in continuing operations in a normal <br />manner and shall actively discourage and endeavor to prevent or terminate any violation of Section <br />6.01 of this Article. In the event any violation of Section 6.01 of this Article occurs, the Union <br />shall immediately notify all employees that the strike, slowdown, picketing, work stoppage, or <br />other interference at any operation or operations of the City is prohibited and is not in any way <br />sanctioned or approved by the Union. Furthermore, the Union shall also immediately advise all <br />employees to return to work at once. <br />6.04 The City shall not lock out any employees for the duration of this Agreement. <br />ARTICLE 7 <br />BULLETIN BOARDS <br />7.01 The City shall provide the Union with a locked bulletin board, provided that: <br />A. Such bulletin board shall be used only for posting notices bearing the written approval of <br />the Associate of the Union or an official representative of the OPBA and shall be solely <br />for Union business; and <br />B. No notice or other writing may contain anything political, controversial or critical of the <br />City or any other institution or of any employee or other person; and <br />C. Upon request from an appropriate official of the City, the Union will immediately remove <br />any notice or other writing that the City believes violates Sub -paragraphs A and B, but <br />the Union shall have the right to grieve such action through the grievance procedure. <br />7.02 Keys shall be provided only to the Associate and the Chief of Police. <br />ARTICLE 8 <br />UNION REPRESENTATION <br />8.01 One (1) employee selected by the Union to act as Union Representative for the purpose <br />of processing and investigating grievances under the grievance procedure shall be known as an <br />Associate. The Associate may have an alternate who shall act in his absence. <br />8.02 No Union meetings or other Union activities shall take place during working hours <br />without prior approval of the Administrative Captain or the Chief of Police, provided that an <br />Associate may discuss a grievance with an employee and his supervisor, during the final one-half <br />(1/2) hour of the shift or at a time more convenient to both parties. i <br />3 <br />
