Report from Committee of the Whole meeting held April 3, 2023. (to be provided) <br /> President Litten gave the following oral report: <br /> The Committee of the Whole met this evening,previous to this meeting, where all members of the <br /> Committee were present as well as many members from the Administration. Of major discussion <br /> were some proposals from both Council and the Administration related to Council's ARPA funds. <br /> Included for discussion were a generator for Cove Community Center, a potential solar option, <br /> Madison Park master plan, possible pickleball courts, traffic-calming measures, some potential <br /> ODOT acquisitions, childcare scholarships, public Wi-Fi at our parks, and concessions at <br /> Lakewood Park and a potential expansion there. We merely touched on each of these items and <br /> got some initial discussions going that I think are going to hit the ground running with some <br /> outside groups proposing at our meeting to come next week. <br /> Motion by president Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file communication. <br /> All in favor. ORDINANCE 05-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect at the earliest period allowed by law, amending Section 902.13 Summer Sprinkling <br /> Program of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to expand the program by one month. ORDINANCE 07-2023 — AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it <br /> receives the affirmative vote of at least five (5) members of Council, or otherwise to take <br /> effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, amending Sections <br /> 1121.09(a) Single-Family Maximum Lot Area Coverage, 1123.09(a) Single- and Two- <br /> Family Maximum Lot Coverage, and 1133.06 Conversion of Single-Family Structure <br /> Prohibited of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood in order to update the <br /> provisions.
