Former Youth Services Building awardee TBD $200,000 <br /> Cove Community Center Battery $105,000 <br /> Lakewood Alive Housing Outreach $100,000 <br /> Legal Aid Society $100,000 <br /> President Litten articulated that the $200,000 should be allocated to whichever applicant is <br /> ultimately approved to purchase the Youth Services building and that the committee not <br /> deliberate tonight on the topic of who that organization will be. <br /> The committee and the administration discussed technical matters related to ARPA allocation and <br /> reporting. The committee also contemplated how projects that receive partial funding can move <br /> forward. Mayor George cautioned about federal efforts to claw back unspent ARPA funds and <br /> encouraged Council to move swiftly. <br /> Cove Community Center Battery Proposal—requesting $300,000 <br /> President Litten proposed an initial outlay of$105,000 in group funds toward this project. <br /> Councilmember Rader, Kepple and Bullock agreed to split the remaining amount amongst <br /> themselves totaling $300,000 and resulting in full funding of the proposal. <br /> Lakewood Alive Housing Outreach—requesting $115,000 <br /> President Litten proposed an initial outlay of$100,000 in group funds toward this project. <br /> The committee discussed the use of the funds. President Litten expressed his intention that the <br /> funds be used for their intended/proposed purpose. <br /> Vice President Kepple noted that Council leadership selected this and the other three projects for <br /> use of group funds because of their discrete nature and the fact that they are ready to go. <br /> The committee decided to circle back to this project after discussing the others. <br /> Legal Aid Society—requesting $150,000 <br /> President Litten proposed an initial outlay of$100,000 in group funds toward this project. <br /> Both President Litten and Councilmember Rader each agreed to contribute $25,000 of individual <br /> funds totaling $150,000, resulting in full funding of the proposal. <br /> Enhanced Traffic Calming—requesting $150,000 <br /> President Litten reminded the committee about the nature of this project and committed $50,000 <br /> toward it. <br /> Councilmember Baker committed $50,000 of individual ARPA funds toward the project. <br /> Studio W. 117th—requesting $500,000 <br /> 2 <br />
