Councilmember Baker mentioned the opportunities for residents and business owners to <br /> capitalize on investments that the federal government is making. <br /> Councilmember Marx and Kepple applauded the ambitiousness of the plan and the work it will <br /> do to make Lakewood a more attractive city for young families. <br /> On the motion: All in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2023-15 was adopted. <br /> 4. ORDINANCE 09-2023 - AN ORDINANCE amending Section 1173.01 Certificate of <br /> Code Compliance of the Lakewood Codified Ordinances to require inspection and <br /> certification of all properties formally owner-occupied that become rental properties. (Is' <br /> read& referred to HPD 4117123) (pg. 90) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to defer Ordinance 09-2023. All <br /> in favor. Motion passed. Ordinance 09-2023 deferred. <br /> ***NEW BUSINESS*** <br /> 5. Communication from President Litten regarding former Youth Division Building at <br /> Madison Ave. (pg. 92) <br /> Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to refer the communication to <br /> Committee of the Whole. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> 6. Communication from Councilmember Baker regarding Lakewood Police Department 2022 <br /> Annual Report.
