<br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2023-34. <br /> <br />Discussion: In response to a question, Director Vargo provided additional detail regarding the <br />financials contained within the transfer agreement as well as other details regarding key pieces of <br />equipment. <br /> <br />On the motion: All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2023-34 adopted. <br /> <br />*** <br /> <br />13. Communication from Public Works Director Gordon regarding 2023 Ohio EPA-Recycle <br />Ohio Grant Award. (pg. 25) <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the <br />communication. All members voted in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />*** <br /> <br />14. RESOLUTION 2023-35 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take <br />effect at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Mayor, or her designee, to enter <br />into an agreement to accept a 2023 Ohio EPA Recycle Ohio Grant award in the amount of <br />$26,897 and requiring a match of City funds in the amount of $8,995. (pg. 26) <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to adopt Resolution 2023-35. <br /> <br />All members voted in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2023-35 adopted. <br /> <br /> <br />***PUBLIC COMMENT**** <br /> <br />Jack Wiegand Î 1050 Kenneth Drive <br />Mr. Wiegand expressed concern about multiple foxes in the neighborhood that are being <br />destructive to other wildlife and endangering residents.
