MINUTES OF A MEETING OF LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL AUDITORIUM July 3, 2023 7:30 P.M. Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:30 PM by President Litten **** Present: Thomas R. Bullock III, Kyle Baker, John Litten, Sarah Kepple, Cindy Marx, Tristan Rader, Jason Shachner Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Acting Police Chief Fischer, Public Works Director Gordon, Law Director Ernie Vargo, Planning Director Leininger, Fire Chief Dunphy, Clerk Bach, Deputy Clerk Hamideh **** Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to approve the minutes of the June 20, 2023 General Meeting without the necessity of a reading. All in favor. Motion passed. ****OLD BUSINESS*** 1. Report from Health & Human Services Committee meeting held June 26, 2023. (pg. 1) Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the report. All in favor. Motion passed. *** 2. Report from Committee of the Whole meetings held July 3, 2023. (to be provided) President Litten gave the following oral report: Committee of the Whole met this evening just prior to this meeting. All members of the Committee were present as well as Director Leininger, Director Vargo, and Mayor George. We had one substantive agenda item that was to discuss the agreement between the City and Lakewood Community Services Center on purchasing the parcel in Ward 4 on Madison that weÓve discussed at length. We discussed the ins and outs of that agreement and some of the adjustments that have been made in the interim and ultimately did move to adopt the agreement as substituted in that meeting. Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the oral report. All in favor. Motion passed. *** Њ
