<br />MINUTES <br />OF A MEETING OF <br />LAKEWOOD CITY COUNCIL <br /> AUDITORIUM <br />July 3, 2023 <br />7:30 P.M. <br /> <br />Regular Meeting of the Lakewood City Council called to order at 7:30 PM by President Litten <br /> <br />**** <br />Present: Thomas R. Bullock III, Kyle Baker, John Litten, Sarah Kepple, Cindy Marx, Tristan <br />Rader, Jason Shachner <br /> <br />Also Present: Mayor George, Finance Director Rancatore, Acting Police Chief Fischer, Public <br />Works Director Gordon, Law Director Ernie Vargo, Planning Director Leininger, Fire Chief <br />Dunphy, Clerk Bach, Deputy Clerk Hamideh <br /> <br />**** <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to approve the minutes of the <br />June 20, 2023 General Meeting without the necessity of a reading. All in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />****OLD BUSINESS*** <br /> <br />1. Report from Health & Human Services Committee meeting held June 26, 2023. (pg. 1) <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the report. All <br />in favor. Motion passed. <br /> <br />*** <br />2. Report from Committee of the Whole meetings held July 3, 2023. (to be provided) <br /> <br />President Litten gave the following oral report: <br /> <br />Committee of the Whole met this evening just prior to this meeting. All members of the Committee <br />were present as well as Director Leininger, Director Vargo, and Mayor George. We had one <br />substantive agenda item that was to discuss the agreement between the City and Lakewood <br />Community Services Center on purchasing the parcel in Ward 4 on Madison that weÓve discussed <br />at length. We discussed the ins and outs of that agreement and some of the adjustments that have <br />been made in the interim and ultimately did move to adopt the agreement as substituted in that <br />meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by President Litten, seconded by Vice President Kepple to receive and file the oral report. <br />All in favor.
