ORDINANCE 36-2023 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect January 1, 2024 provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least five members of Council, or otherwise to take <br />effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law amending the Tax Code of <br />the City of Lakewood to incorporate changes that have been mandated by the passage of <br />stnd <br />H.B. 33 by the State of Ohio. (1 <br /> read & referred to Finance 11/20/23; 2 reading <br />12/4/23) (pg. 70) <br /> <br />25.ORDINANCE 37-2023 -AN ORDINANCE to take effect January 1, 2024, provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br />to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, to provide for <br />creating positionsand rates of pay for full-time and certain part-time annual salaried <br />employees and hourly rate employees not covered by a collective bargaining agreement <br />in the several departments, divisions and offices of the City of Lakewood, including the <br />Chief of Fire, Chief of Police and Civil Service Commissioners and superseding all prior <br />stnd <br />salary ordinances. RESOLUTION 2023-65 - A RESOLUTION to take effect immediately provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise <br />to take effect and be in force after the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing and <br />directing the Mayor to submit the Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) One-Year Action Plan of the <br />FY20–FY24 Five Year Consolidated Plan (Consolidated Plan) which includes dollar <br />allocations and activities to be funded with federal Community Development Block Grant <br />(CDBG) and Emergency Solutions Grant (ESG) resources, any other entitlement funds <br />received from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), all <br />amendments thereto, and all understandings and assurances contained therein, and <br />incorporates the City’s application to HUD for FY24 CDBG and ESG funds.
