He noted that his passion for running makes him aware of the importance of <br />accessibility for all. <br />Mr. Koran expressed that his volunteer and civic engagement has been somewhat limited since <br />his time as a student, which is one reason why he feels compelled to serve on the Commission. <br />When asked to weigh in on the City’s existing government structure as laid out in the Charter, <br />Mr. Koran stated that he has no strong opinion on the structure and will develop a more informed <br />opinion after speaking with councilmembers and members of the 2014 Charter Review <br />Commission. <br />In response to a question, Mr. Koran highlighted his experiences working with a diversity of <br />legal clients, often everyday people who have been hurt or wronged in some way. He described <br />the reward of providing legal help to clients whose lives may be radically altered by <br />circumstances outside of their control.
