Motion by President Kepple, seconded by Vice President Shachner, to adopt Resolution 2023-74. <br />All in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2023-74 adopted. <br />3. RESOLUTION 2024-06 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect <br />and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the Director of Finance to <br />enter into Equipment Leases in forms approved by the Director of Law on behalf of the City <br />of Lakewood (“City”). (referred to Finance 2/5/24) (pg. 7) <br /> <br />Motion by President Kepple, seconded by Vice President Shachner, to adopt Resolution 2024-06. <br />All in favor. Motion passed. Resolution 2024-06 adopted. <br />4. ORDINANCE 02-2024 - AN ORDINANCE to take effect immediately provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of at least two thirds of the members of Council, or otherwise to take effect <br />and be in force at the earliest period allowed by law, authorizing the transfer and advance of <br />st <br />certain funds. Ordinance 02-2024 adopted. <br /> <br />5. Report from Committee of the Whole held March 4, 2024. (to be provided) <br /> <br />President Kepple delivered the following report: <br /> <br />th <br />The Committee of the Whole met earlier tonight on March 4 to discuss Resolution 2024-10, <br />a resolution to allocate all unspent ARPA funds that were not yetencumbered or contracted <br />for expenditure. Planning Director Leininger provided a detailed report about which specific <br />projects these funds could be allocated to, as well as an overview of how the ARPA guidance <br />has changed to make it in the City’s best interest to allocate all remaining funds to water and <br />sewer projects. That Resolution was unanimously recommended out of Committee for <br />adoption. <br /> <br /> <br />2 <br /> <br /> <br />
