Communication received and filed. <br />***LIQUOR PERMITS*** <br />12.Liquor Notice – Aqua Bar Lakewood LLC @ 13324 Madison Ave. (pg. 113) <br />Chief Fischer noted that Lakewood Police have been unsuccessful in contacting the owners and <br />requested deferral. <br />Motion by President Kepple, seconded by Vice President Shachner, to defer the liquor notice for <br />Aqua Bar Lakewood LLC. All in favor. Motion passed. Liquor notice deferred. <br />***PUBLIC COMMENT**** <br />Paul Ross, Lakeland Ave. – Mr. Ross expressed concerns about the sidewalk program, <br />particularly an incident where he was unexpectedly charged for repairs outside his home. He <br />stated that this repair occurred despite previous assurances that the sidewalk was in good <br />condition and required no maintenance. <br />Discussion: Public Works Director Gordon stated that he would discuss this matter in greater <br />detail with Mr. Ross after the meeting. <br />Mayor George stated that the timeline brought up by Mr. Ross is exactly why the City is making <br />changes to how it administers the sidewalk program. She stated that the City aims to improve the <br />program in order to ensure that sidewalk work is being done in a more efficient, timely, and <br />transparent manner. <br />5 <br /> <br />
