( ) <br />v Ol'!.DINANCE NO. 1612 By Mr. qtevens <br />AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Publio Works to purchase cer- <br /> tain land for extending Athens AvenuEi. <br />BE rT ORDAINED by the Council of the Oity of Lakewood, State of Ohio:- <br /> Section 1: That the Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby author- <br /> ized and directed, for the purpose of extending Athens Avenue, a publio <br /> street in the City of Lakewood. to purchr.se from the owner or owners, for <br />a consideration not to exceed $1,600.00 the followtng described real <br /> esta te:- <br /> Situated in the Oity of Lakewood, County of <br /> Cuyahoga, Rockport Township, Section No. 19, <br /> state of Ohio, and being known as Lot No. 7l <br /> Of The Maple Shade Subdivision to the City of <br /> Lakewood, as recorded in Volume 45, page 9 <br /> CuyahC¡ga County Record of Plats. <br /> Said lot No. 71 has a frontagê of 40 ft. on <br /> the ea.sterlyside of South Lakeland Avenue <br /> and extends easterly of even width a depth <br /> Of 179 ft. <br /> Seotion 2: That said purchase price, not exceeding $1,600.00, shall be <br /> paid from moneys appropriated by bond issue for purclmsing and condemning <br /> land for extending various streets to-wit: Athens Avenue (Ordinance No. l~) <br /> upon delivery to the City of Lakewood of a gòod and suff'icient Warranty <br /> Deed, with Ce·rtificate of Title, showing said premises to be free and clear <br /> Of all incumbrances, approved by the Director of.
