Road from a point about 450 feet west of West 117hh <br />Street to Fischer Road in acoordanoe with Resolution No. 1821. adopted by <br />the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 3rd, 1920 80 much of the entire <br />coat and expense of ~his improv@1lent !1 a is a proper oharge for Greid side- <br />walks and gruding ne(esaa.ry a-nd inoidents-l thereto shall be assessed upon <br />aJ;:. the lots and lands bounding and abutting on eaid Berea HOhd between <br />the points before mentioned, so improved in proportion to the benefits <br />which may result froms&.id improvement. not exceeding 33-1/3% of the real <br />value of the property benefited. <br /> <br />Section 2: That the'aasessments so to be levied s)mll be paid in five <br />annual instállments provided that the owners Of any property assessed may <br />at his option pay such assessment in oash within thirty days from and <br />after the passage of this ordinance. All cash paymento shall be made to <br />the Director of Finance. All un~~id installmenta of assessments shall be <br />øertified by the Direotor of Finanoe to the County Auditor on or before <br />the second Monday in September annually to be plnced by him upon the tax <br />duplicate, a~d collected with the regular taxes of 1922 and 1926 inclusive <br /> <br />. <br /> <br />Section 3: That to provide a fund for the payment of the cost of construot <br />ing side1Jalks as aforesaid the M!¡<yor and Director of Finance be and they <br />are hereby authorized to issue and eell notes of the City of Lakewood <br />according to law in the aggregate sum of $6.540.00 oonsisting of five <br />notes ea.oh in the amount of one thousand three hundred and eight dollars. <br />Said notes shall be dated dè'y of sale and shall mature one on April ~ 1922 <br />and one on AprÜ 1, eaoh yea'r thereafter until all ruwe been paid and re- <br />tired. Sa.id notes ahall be sighed and sealed as municipal bonds are <br />signed and sealed and shall bear interest at the rate of SiB per cent per <br />annum.
