ORDINANCE No. 1779 By Mr, Gormsen A~; OR'D~EANCE declaring an emergency necessary for the immediate preserva- tion of public p~operty, health and safety, and providing for the usual daily operation of the Division of Building Inspection, Deps.rtment~0f Public Safety, and providing for the employees in ~d division and fixing their salaries and compensations. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Lakewood, Ohio, three-fourths of all members elected thereto Concurring: Section 1: T hat tho employees in the Division of Building Inspection, De- partment of Public Safety, and their salaries shall be as follows: One Inspector of Buildings, salary not to exceed $3,2~0.00 per annum, payable in equal monthly in- stallments, bond $200.00, premium o~ said bond to be paid by the City. All ~transportation in connec- tion with the duties of said Building Inspector to be without any additional expense to the City. One ~ssistant Inspector cf Buildings, salary not to exceed $2,2~0.00 per annum, payable in equal monthly installments, bond $200.00. premium on said bond to be paid by the City. All transoortation in connec- tion with the duties of said Assistant Building In- spector to be without any additional ~xp~nse to the City. · Section 2: That an emergency exists for providing for the usual daily operation of the Division of Building Inspection, Department of Public Safety, and therefore this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure and slm. ll be in force and take effect forthwith after its paSs§§e and approval by the Mayor. and thst any and all ordinances or ~arts thereof inconsistent herewith be and the s~me are hereby repealed at such time as this ordinance shall be in f~ll force and effect.
