ORDINANCE NO, 1780 <br /> <br />By Mr. Hart <br /> <br />AI~ 0RDI~ANCE authorizing the employment sf a Landscape Gardener <br />in the Department cf Public Works and fixing his compensation and <br />declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAIt~D by the Council cf the City of Lakewccd, State cf <br />Ohio: <br /> <br />section i: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to employ <br />in the Department of Public Works a Landscape Gardener at a salary <br />not to exceed $180.00 per month, payable in semi-monthly installments <br />beginning January l, 1922, to be paid from the Service Fund. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists for the preservation of public property <br />and the usual daily bperation of a department to-~it, the Department <br />of public Works arising from the necessity of providing means for <br />the performance of the n2cessary work in said department. <br /> <br />Section 2: That this ordinance is declared to be an emergency <br />measure, and shall take effect forthwith and at th~arliest period <br /> <br />allowed by law. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />January <br /> <br />L.
