ORDI~,~NCE NO~ 1882 By Er. Gormsen ~.N ORDINANCE determining to proceed with, andlevying and assessing ~peci~l tax to pay the cost and expense of improving A~dmar Avenue from Esther Avenue to West Ada~us Avenue by constructing sewer main of vitrified sewer pipe therein with necessary manholes, catch-basins, curb connections and other appurtenances incidental thereto, and authorizing the Eayor and Director of Finance to issUe bonds in the su~ of $~,100.00 in anticipation of the collection of said special tax to provide a fund for th~ p~nt of the ~o'~tion of the c~st and~exp~nse of s~id improVoment for which sazd special tax is levied. BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of LakeWocd, State of Ohio, ~th~ee~fourths of all members thereof concurring: Section l: That it is hereby determined to proceed with the improve- ment cf Andmar Avenue frown Esther Avenue to ~est Ad~ms Avenue by construct- ing sewer main of vitrified sewer pipe therein with necessary manholes, catch-basins, curb connections and other ~ppurtenances incidental thereto. in accordance with Resolution ~o. 199~ passed April ~, 1922 and in accordance with plans, specifications, estimstes ~nd profiles here- tofore approvsd and now on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. section 2: That all claims for damages resulting from said improve- men~ shall be judicially inquired into after the completion thereof, and that the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to eHter into contract for s~id improvemenm in the manner provided by law. which improvement, mn accordance with Article l~, Section 16 of the Charte~ has been estin~ted by the Director of Public Works to have a life of 20 years. Section 3: That for the purpose o~ p~ying the cos~ and expense of said improvement there is hereby levie~ and assessed a special tax upon the several lots and parcels of l~,nd designated in and in accordance with Estimated ~ssessment No. ~05 as made for tha~ purpose by the Director of Finance and recommended to this Council by the Board of Revismon ~f Assessments. S~id estlms~ted assessment was made on the basis of special beneTits conferred by said improvement on the several parcels of land therein described and the s~e is herein confirmed adopted and approved, Section $: That the owners of the several l~ts or parcels of land in- cluded in said assessment shall pay ~he amounts from them severally due as shown by Column No~ ~ of said Estim~.te~d Aseessmen~ No, ~04 to the City Treasurer on or before thirty days fro~ ~he date of the passage of this ordinance, at their option, and in def.~ul~ thereof s~id special assessment with interes~ at the rate of ~½ per centum per annum, upon deferred payments, shall be payable to the County Treasurer in ~ annual installments with the regular taxes of 1922 to 1926 botL inclusive.
