<br />NATURAL GAS ORDINANCE
<br /> CITY OF LAKE~00D
<br />
<br />AA1 ORDINANCE regulating and fixing the price for
<br />natural gas supplied by The East Ohio Gas Company,
<br />its successors and assigns, to the 0ity of Lake-
<br />wood, Ohio, and its inhabitants, for the period
<br />beginning July 31, 1924, and ending April 30, 1928.
<br />
<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKE~00D, STATE OF 0HI0:
<br />
<br /> Section 1. The maximum price which The East Ohio Gas
<br />Company, its successors and assigns, shall be permitted to charge
<br />for and the minimum price at which it shall be required to furnish
<br />natural gas to the said City of Lakewood and its inhabitants, shall
<br />be and the same is hereby fixed for each individual consumer, as
<br />follows:
<br />
<br /> For the period beginning July 31, 1924, and ending December
<br />10, 1925:
<br />
<br /> For the first 10,000 cubic feet or less per month.8§~ per
<br />1000 cubic feet.
<br /> For all over 10,000 cubic fe~t but not to exceed 20,000 cubic
<br />feet per month, 68~ per i000 cubic feet.
<br /> For all over 20,000 cubic feet per month, 80~ per 1000 cubic
<br />feet.

<br />payable on the first day of each month, or such other dates as may be
<br />established by the company for the maturity of bills in said City of
<br />Lakewood or any portion thereof, at the main office of the company
<br />in the City of Cleveland, or at such branch collection agency or
<br />agencies as it may establish therefor~ln the City of Cleveland or the
<br />City of Lakewood; subject, however, in the case of each bill which
<br />shall be paid within ten (10) days from the first day of the month
<br />succeeding that in which gas is used, or other date of maturity
<br />established therefore, to a discount of five (5) cents ~ r thousand
<br />(1000) cubic feet; provided, further, that in the event any consumer
<br />shall use no gas or less than three thousand (3000) cubic feet of gas
<br />in any one month, the company may charge and the consumer shall pay
<br />for that month for three thousand (3000) cubic feet of gas as though t
<br />same had been consumed by him at the maximum ~rice per thousand (1000)
<br />herein fixed for the first ~n thousand (10,000) cubic feet, subject
<br />to like terms of payment and discount.

<br />For the period beginning December 11, 1928, and ending April 30, 19288
<br />
<br /> For the period beginning December 11, 1928, and ending April
<br />30, 1928, for the first 8,000 cubic feet or any portion thereof,
<br />per month, §8~ per 1,000 cubic feet; for all over 8,000 cubic feet
<br />but not to exceed 18,000 cubic feet per month, 60~ per 1,000 cubic
<br />feet; for all over 18,000 cubic feet but not to exceed 28,000 cubic
<br />feet~ per month 88~ per 1,000 cubic feet; for all over 28,000 cubic
<br />feet but not to exceed 80,000 cubic feet per month, 80~ per 1,000
<br />cubic feet; for allover 80,000 cubic feet, per month $1.08 per
<br />1,000 cubic feet; all such charges shsll be paysble on the first day
<br />of each month or such other date as may be established by the company
<br />for the maturity of bills in the city of Lakew od, or any portion
<br />thereof, at the main office of the company, or at such branch
<br />collection agency or agencies as it may establish there~for. All
<br />the above rates are subject, however, in the case of each bill which
<br />shall be paid within ten (10) days from the date of maturity establish
<br />therefor, to a discount of five cents (8) per 1,000 cubic feet;
<br />provided in addition that during the entire term and period of this
<br />
