ORDINANCE NO. 28~2 By Mr, Hinehliffe <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to punish persons who shall create, continue, con- <br />tribute to or suffer a nuisance upon any lot in the City of Lakewood, <br />declaring a nuisance and prescribing a penalty, repealing Ordinance <br />No. 1718 adopted by the Council of the City of Lakewood on May 2nd, <br />I921, and any other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent <br />herewith, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Lakewood, State of <br />Ohio, two-thirds of all members elected thereto concurring:- <br /> <br /> Section 1: That %he placing of rubbish, paper, cans, bottles, <br />boxes, barrels, ashes and debris upon any lotin the City of Lakewood <br />by the owner thereof or others, or continuing, contributing or suffer- <br />ing the same to remain thereon, is hereby declared to be a nuisance, <br />and an injury and annoyance to the public, and whoever shall create, <br />continue, contribute to or suffer s~ch nuisance to exist in the City <br />of Lakewood, upon conviction thereof in a Court of competent Juris- <br />diction, shall be held to be g~ilty of creating a nuisance and shall <br />be fined in any sum not exceedmng $50.00 for each offence. <br /> <br /> SeCtion 2: As stated in the Preamble, this ordinance is declared <br />to be an emergency measure and shall be in full force and effect from <br />and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted._ June,,2,1~ 1926, <br /> <br />(,8,~d.)
