That Section 2 cf Ordinance Nc. 1786, entitled "An Ordinance providing for the zoning or districting of the City of Lakewocd and the regulation of the location, bulk, heights and mess of buildings and other structures and premises, and repealing Ordinamce No. 1479" and reading: "Section 2: CLASSIFICATION OF USES--For the purpose of this ordinance the various uses ef buildings and premises are divided into groups, classes and subdivisions as set forth in the following classification of uSeSe Group 1 --RESIDENCE CLASSES Class la Uses: (Dwelling) (1) Dwelling. (2) Church; School; Public Library; Public Museum. (3) Community center building; private club, excepting a club the chief activity of which is a service customarily carried on as a business; philanthropic or eleemosynary use or institution ether than a penal or correctional institution; hospital or sanitarium cther than for the ins~ue or feeble- minded. (4) Public park; publis playground; public recreation building; public water supply reservoir; tower or filter bed. (5) Railway passenger station; railway right-of-way, not including railway yardse (6) Farming; greenhouses nursery; truck gardening. Class lb Uses: (Apartment House) (1) Apartment House. (2) Hotel, Group 2 -- BUSINESS CLASSES Class 2a Uses: (Retail Store) (1) Billboard er advertising sig~. (2) Bank; office; studio; telephone exchange; wholesale sales office or sample room; oil filling station; fire er police station; ice delivery station, and automatic transformer regulating (3) Retail trade or shop for custom werk er the making artieles to be sold at retail on the premises; restaurant; theater; moving picture show; any use not included in any other class, providing such use is not noxious er offensive by reason cf the emission of odor, dust, smoke, gas or noise.
