ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />BT Mr. Phillips <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Finance to pay to <br />Mrs. Margaret O'Neill, ll~02 Detroit Avenue, Cleveland, Ohio, <br />the s~m of T~enty-fiVe Dollars ($28.00) in full settlement of <br />her claim against the City of Lakewood for damage to tires on <br />her automobile when it struck an excavation on the Lakewood <br />side of Berea Road, June 26, 1931, and declaring an emergency. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of Lakewood, State of <br />Ohio, two-thirds of all members thereof concurring:- <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby <br />authorized to p~y to ~rs. Margaret O'Neill, 11402 Detroit Avenue, <br />Cleveland, Ohio, the sum of Twenty-five Dollars ($28.00) in full <br />settlement of her Claim against the City of Lakewood for damage <br />to tires on her automobile when it struck an excavation on the <br />Lakewood side of Berea Road, June 26, 1931, upon receipt of <br />satisfactory release signed by Mrs. O'Neill and her husband re- <br />leasing the City of Lakewood from auy and all further liabilities <br />in connection with this accident. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the amount Set forth in Section 1 hereof be paid <br />from appropriation 1-M (Damages pa~d by the City) as set forth in <br />Ordinance No. 3168 adopted by this Council January 8, 1931. <br /> <br />Section 3. As stated in the preamble, this ordinance is declared <br />to be an emergency measure and shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
