ORDINANCE # ~28~ By Mr. Hurd <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE to accept deed from The City Ice & Fuel Company <br /> <br />for a parcel of land approximately eleven feet wide for the widening <br /> <br />of L~ewood Heights Boulevard. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, The City Ice &Fael Company has conveyed to the City <br /> <br />of Lakewood by deed dated February'll, 19~2, a parcel of land hereinafter <br /> <br />described to be used for the widening of Lakewood Heights Boulevard, and <br /> <br />the city desires to accept same for such purpose: <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it ordained by the council of the city of <br /> <br />Lakewood: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the deed from the City Ice &Fuel Company <br /> <br />dated February 11~ 1952, conveying to the city of Lakewood a parcel of <br /> <br />lend hereinafter described, be and the sane is hereby accepted for the <br /> <br />purpose of widening Lakewood Heights Boulevard. Said parcel bein~ <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Ohio and State of Ohio: <br />Section 19, Original Rockport Township and being a strip of land eleven <br />(11) feet wide off the southerly side of the lands of The City Ice & Fuel <br />Company, bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point in the northerly street line of Lakewood Heights <br />Boulevard (60) feet wide) and the easterly line of sublet No. 36? im the <br />Homesite Company's Arthur Heights Subdivision No. S, as shown by the plat <br />recorded in Volume 66, page 14 of Cuyahoga County records of Maps; thence <br />north 89 degrees 50 mf-utes 40 seconds east in the northerly lime of Lake- <br />wood Heights Boulevard as shown by the aforesaid plat, ?02.24 feet to a <br />point in the westerly line of Warren Road (60 feet wide); thence north <br />9 degrees 0 minutes 24 seconds west ii.iS feet in the westerly street line <br />of ~arren Road to a point; thence south 89 degrees 50 mfn,~tes 40 seconds <br />west, parallel to the north line of Lakewood Heights Boulevard and 11 feet <br />distant therefrom at right angles a distance of ?00.$0 feet to a point in <br />the easterly lime of Lot No. $$? aforesaid; thence south O degrees 59 <br />minutes $0 seconds west in said easterly line 11 feet to the place of <br />beginning. <br /> <br />Section 2.
