ORDINANCE NO. 5555 <br /> <br />By Mr. Dawson <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Director <br />of Finance to pay to Howard~H. and Mary L. Webster, 2105 <br />Northland Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, the sum of seventy-five <br />dollars ($75.00) in full settlement of their claim against <br />the City of Lakewood on account of expense in repairing <br />sewer at 2105 Northland Avenue, Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, at a meeting of council July l, 1935, <br />action was taken to allow Howard H. and Mary L. Webster, <br />seventy-five dollars ($75.00) for this claim, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LAKP~WOOD, STATE OF 0HI0, two-thirds of all <br />members thereof concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be <br />and he is hepeby authorized to pay to Howard H. and Mary L. <br />Webster, 2106 Northland Avenue, Lakewood, the stun of <br />seventy-five dollars ($75.00) in full settlement of their <br />claim against the city of Lakewood on account of expense in <br />repairing sewer at 2105 Northland Avenue, Lakewood, upon <br />receipt of satisfactory release signed by said Howard H. <br />and Eary L. Webster releasing the City of Lakewood from any <br />and all further liabilities ~n connection therewith. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That ~he amount set forth in Section <br />1 hereof be paid from appropriation 1-M (damages paid by the <br />City) as set forth in Ordinance No. 3518, adopted by this <br />Council, March~$~IT1935. <br /> <br /> Section 3. This ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure and shall be in full fOrce'and <br />effect upon its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br /> <br />
