ORDINANCE 1~0. 3620 <br /> <br />B~ Mrm Spalding <br /> <br /> An emergency ordinance authorizing the settlement of cSaims of <br />~ry Gee and George Gee, her husbSmd, for injuries sustained by her by <br />falling off defective sidewalk. <br /> <br /> Whereas, Mary Gee was injured June 21, 1936, by falling on a de- <br />fective sidewalk and an emergency has arisen to settle said claims <br />promptly and t o provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal de- <br />partment. <br /> <br /> NOW,TKEREFORE, BE IT 0EDAI~,:,, BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OFIAKE <br />WOOD, STATE OF 0HI0, two-thirds of all members thereof concurringl <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the settlement of the claims of Mary ~ee and Geor~ <br />Gee, her husband, for the sum of fifty.five dollars ($55.00} is hereby <br />authorized, upon the execution of releases duly approved by the director <br />of law. The director of finance is hereby authorized to pay said amount <br />upon the delivery to him cf proper releases duly executed and approved <br />and to charge s~m~ to Gen~al fund. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
