Prepare detailed plans, specifications and estimate of <br /> oost of all necessary improvements to the existing sewage <br /> treatment plant of the city of Lakewood, in form suitable <br /> for oonstruction bids, andaat1sfaotory to the State Ve.. <br /> partment of Health, the Publio Works Administration and <br /> the direoto1' of publio works" f <br /> 2. :Prepare forms for legal adverthementa, instruotions to <br /> bidders, proposals, bonda and oonstruotion contraots, sub- <br /> Ject to the approval of the Q1ty and the director of pubUo <br /> works. <br /> . <br /> 3. Assist the city in securing bidders, tabulating bids and <br /> aWaX'ding construotion oontr&ots. <br />I 4. Give advisory services in oonneotion with the supervision <br />of the construction work during the entire construction P~r- <br /> iod. as required by the director of public works. This in- <br /> cludes visits by the engineer or a oompetent assistant to <br /> the site of the work at least once each week while work is <br /> under way, the checking and correspondence in connection with <br /> all working drawings covering equipment to be i~corporated in <br /> the plant. assistance in the interpretation of the plana and <br /> specifications, office work and conferences in connection <br /> with the project. <br />ARTICLE II. The City agrees as follows. <br /> 1.
