S681 BY Mrs. Spalding <br /> <br />AN E~ERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the settlement of claim of <br />Agnes Chase for personal injuries sustained by falling on icy <br />sidev~alk. <br /> <br />~HEREAS, Agnes Chase was injured December 16th, 19S6, by fall- <br />ing on icy sidewalk at or about 1443 Cordova Avenue and an <br />emergency has arisen to settle said claim promptly and to pro- <br />Vide for the Usual daily Operation of a municipal department, <br />NOW, TN~REFORE' BE IT ORDAINED by the Council of the City of <br />Lakewoed, State of Ohio, two-thirds (2/S) of all members there- <br />of concurring: <br /> <br />Section 1. <br /> <br />Section 2. <br /> <br /> That the settlement of the claim of Agnes <br />Chase for the sum of one hundred dollars <br /> ($100.O0) is hereby authorized, upon the <br />execution of release duly approved by the <br />Director of Law. <br /> <br /> The Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br /> to pay said amount upon the delivery to him <br /> of proper release duly executed and approved <br /> and to charge same to the General Fund. <br /> <br />As stated in the Preamble, this Ordinance <br />is declared to be an emergency measure and <br />shall be in full force and effect from and <br />after its passage and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Zdopted:_ JUN211937 <br /> <br /> <br />
