ORDINANCE No. 3~55 BY ~r. Falrgrieve <br /> <br /> AN E~RGENCY 0HDINANCE authorizing the Director of <br />Finance to pay to ~. E~bert E. Belt, 1060 Erie Cliff Drive, <br />L~kewoo~, Ohio, the sum of Sixty-dine Dollars Ninety-Five <br />Cents ($69.96)in full settlement of his claim against the City <br />of Lakewood on account ~f expense_in repairing the sewer at <br />1060 Erie Cliff Drive, Lake~ood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> ~REAS, at a meeting of Council July 5th 1938, action <br />was taken to allow Mr. Robert E. Belt Sixty Nine Dollars and <br />Ninety-Five Cents ($69.98) for this claim; and <br /> <br /> W~EREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal dep~rtment arising ouh of the <br />necessity of settling said claim promptly; now <br /> <br /> THERP~FORE, BE IT 0RDAINEDBY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY <br />OF LAKEW00D, STATE OF 0HI0, two-thirds of all members thereof <br />concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he <br />is hereby authorized to pay to Mr. Robert E. Belt, 1060 Erie <br />Cliff Drive~ Lakewood, the sum of Sixty Nine Dollars and Ninety- <br />Five Cents ($69.95) in full settlement of his claim agaiust the <br />City of Lakewood on account of expense in repairing sewer at <br />1060 Erie Cliff Drive, Lakewood, Ohio, upon receiDt of satisfactory <br />release signed by said Mr. Robert E. Belt, releasing the City of <br />L~,ewood from any and all further liabilities in connection there- <br />with. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the amount set forth in Section 1 <br />hereof be paid from the City Portion Sewer Fund. <br /> <br /> Section G. As stated in the preamble this ordinance <br />is declared to be an emergency measure and shall be in full <br />force and effect upon its passage and approval by the Nayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br /> <br />
