ORDi~ANCE No. 4541 .by Mr. Tyler <br /> <br /> An ordinance authorizing the ~ayor, as Director of Public <br />Works, to accept a Quit Claim Deed from The Cleveland Trust Company, <br />an Ohio Corporetion, conveying to the City of Lakewood, ,title to <br />the property hereinafter described. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the property so conveyed is needed for widening the <br />street intersection of Plover and Halstead Avenues, n~v therefore~ <br /> <br /> BE IT ~DAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IAKEV~OOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: ~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That for the purpose of widening the street inter- <br />section at Plover Avenue and Halstead Avenue in the City of Lakewood, <br />the Mayor, as Director of Public Works be, and he is hereby authorized' <br />to accept title by Quit Claim Deed from The Cleveland Trust Company to <br />the following described property, to-wit: <br /> <br />"Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of C~yahogA, <br />and State of Ohio, and known as being part of Sub-Lot <br /> No. 336 in the Pleasant Hill Allotment of part of ~ <br /> Original Rockport Township Section No. 20 as shown by <br /> the recorded plat in Volume 20 of Maps Page 9 of Cuyahoga <br /> County Records and bounded and described as follows:- <br /> <br />Beginning at'a point in the east line of Halstesd Street <br />(50~eet wide), southerly from the northwest corner~o~. <br />Lot No. 336, aforesaid, 27.31.feet; thence from sa~i~ <br />place of beginning southerly mn the east line of Nalstead~ <br />Street, 58.19 feet to the northwesterly line of Plover <br />Street (50 feet wide); thence easterly in the northwesterly <br />line of Plover Street, 58.19 feet to a point of curve; ~ <br />thence northwesterly in an arc of a cur~e deflectiug to <br />the right whose radius is 30 feet, long chord 53.33 feet <br />to the place of beginning, be the same more or less, but <br />subject to all le~al highways." <br /> <br /> Section 2. The Director of Finance is authorized to pay to The <br />Cleveland Trust Company the amount of $10.00 indicated in said Quit Claim <br />Deed as consideration for the conveyance, from the Gasoline Tax Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
