ORDINANCE NO. 4695 ~Y Mr. Fahrenbach <br /> <br /> AN ~.~GENCY ORDINANCE amenSing and supplementing Ordinance No. <br />4060 by the enactment as a part thereof of a new section to be known as <br />Section 56-2 of said 0r&inance No. 4060 and providing for the regulation of <br />the use of streets by further restricting parking thereon as hereinafter <br />provided. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in that current conditions in the <br />use of the streets require iw,aediate action and control in the interest of <br />the public welfare and safety and in that this ordinance l=ovides for the <br />usual daily operation cf a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 00UMCIL OF THE CITY OF T.AwEWOOD, STATE OF <br /> <br /> Section 1. That ordinance Nc. 4060 is hereby amended and supple- <br />mented by the enactment as a Raft thereof of a new section to be known as <br />Section 56-2 ef said ordinance providing as follows: <br /> <br /> Parking on streets the pavement of which is 26 feet or <br />less in width shall be restricted to one side thereof. No <br />person shall park a vehicle at ar~ time on that side of <br />an~ such restricted street or part thereof designated by <br />the Mayor as no parking area, after signs are erected <br />giving notice of such no parking. In designating the area <br />of and along the side of any such street in which there <br />shall be ne parking, the Mayor shall take into considera- <br />tion the location of fire by&rants and other conditions <br />on or adjacent to such street or part thereof. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance is hereby dec]ared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it re- <br />ceives the affirmative vote cf two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in ferce ~m~ediatelyupon its adoption and ap- <br />proval by theMayoro <br /> <br />Adopted:.. <br /> <br />Wm.
