ORDINANCE NO. h769 BY Mr. Fahrenbach AN ORDINANCE To amend Section 7(b) ef Ordinance No. 4483 adopted June 2, 19~7, and repealing present Section ?(b) of Ordinance No. 4483, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO~ Section 1. That SeCtion 7(b) of Ordinance Mo. 4483 now reading{ "(b) HOURLY ANU) FLAT RATE. Taxicabs may accept employment whereby the fa~e is to bs computed on an hourly rental basis or upon a flat rate ef ~0~ f~r az~ ride within the city, and no charge for additional passengers, except where an additional stop is made when a charge of XO~ for each such stop ma~ be made. Ta-4cabs employed on the hourl~ ~asis, shall operate within the City of Lakewood upon the following sche~,~e of rates~ - Not less than $1,50 per hour ar fraction thereof for the first hour nor ~ore than $3,00 per hour, provided that charges for usc in excess of one hour shall Be on the basis of one-sixth of an hour fractions of the rate charged for the first Be, and it is hereby, amended to read as follcwsz '(b) .HOURLY ~ND FIAT RATE. Taxicabs employed on the hourly basis, sha]~ operate within the City of Lakewood upon the following schedule of rates~ - Not less than $1.50 per hour or fraction thereof for the first hour nor ~ore than $3.00 per hour, provided that charges for use in excess of one hour shall be on the basis of one-sixth of an hour fractions of the rate charged for the first full hour, Section 2, That this ordinance shall t~ke effect and bs in ferce upon its adoption and approval by the Mayar at the earliest period a~owed by law, Adopted~.
