ORDINANCE NO~ 4772 BY Mr. Gottermeyer <br /> <br /> AN E~GENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, <br />to advertise for bids for the purchase of gasoline for the varieus departments of <br />the city, for a period of one year beginning September 16, 1951o <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, an emergency exists in order to provide for the immediate pre- <br />servation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAEEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> ~ Section 1o That the Mayor, as Director of Public Works, be and he is <br />hereby authorized to advertise for bids for the purchase of gasoline, for the <br />various departments of the city, for a period of one year beginning September <br />16, 1951, in accordance with specifications submitted by the Director of Public <br />Works, which are hereby approved. <br /> <br /> Section 2~ That this ordinance is hereby declared 'to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor~ ~ <br /> <br />Adopted: July 16~ 1951 <br /> <br />Wm.
