ORDINANCE NO. 4779 BY Nr. Gottermeyer AN EMERGENCY OEDINANCE authorizing the alteration and modification in the contract executed July 20~ 19%O~ by and ~etween the City of Lakewood and F. H. NcGraw and Compar~ for the ~onstruction of an addition to the Refuse Incinerator plant at 12920 Bores Road, by providing for the additional construction and at the prices hereinafter specified; and authorizing the Ma~or as Director of Public Works to enter into a supplemental contract accordingly. WHEREASo this ordinance constitutes an emergency in that it is deemed necessary to provide forthwith for the additions to the incinerator as hereinafter provided and inthat this ordinance provides for the public welfare and aafety and theusualdailyoperationof a munioipaldepartment, nowj therefore, ~E IT ORDAINED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the Mayor ex officio Director of Public Works Be, and he ia hereby, authorized on Beb.le of the City of Lakewood to enter into an agree- ment with F, H. McGraw and Compan~ altering and modifying the original agreement oxecuted July 20~ 19~0~ and providing for the furnt.hing and construction of ad- ditional items and faci14tiee and at ~ prices following~ to wit! Additional concrete floor adjacent to the locker r~ma New floor in old office area in old incinerator plant Shoring etoking floor and charging floor Concrete ramp in ash driveway Furnish and incl,11 two additional floor drains in ramp, e~e old vent lines from existing toilet room in o~1 incinerator plant~ re-arrange ~e coil pipe line eervic- lng charging floor drains Revisions to structural steel and platform to be added to steel stairs from stoking floor Electrical changes from original specifications New lower ramp door $ ,Tt .oo 380, 6 llO,O0 250.00 Section 2, Subject to the further provisions of the agreement executed July 20th the Director of l~lnsnce is authorized and directed to pay the foregoing On items provided in Section 1 hereof totel~4ug $~j6~],?1~ upon completion and certification of such construction~ to F.
