IT ORDAINED ~ THE COUNCIL (~ THE CIT~ OF IA~OOD~ STATE OF Section 1. That it is Considered in the interests of the City of Lakewood to exercise its privilege to purchase the armory and Barracks erected on the land hereinafter described from the State of Ohio and the Mayor is hereby authorized to proceed with the ~urchase ~f said b~ildings for the su~ of One Thousand Dollars ($1, oo0.oo). Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized on Behalf of the City of Lakewood to accept from the State of Ohio a deed conveying to the City the following de- scribed real estatel Situated ta the Village of Rocky River, Rockport Township Section County of Cu~ahoga, State of Ohio~ bounded and described as follow~e Beginning at a point in the line Between Sections No. 18 and 2J, Rockport Township, 68~ feet east of a monument situated at the southeast acrner of property heretofore conveyed to the City of Lakewood and de- scribed in Volume ?~6~ page ~04, Cuyahoga Count~ Record of Deede~ maid point of beginning is further described as Being 836.46 feet west from · monument at the intersection of the center lines of Madison Avenue and Riverside Road! thence due east in said line Between Sections Nos.- 18 and 23 a distance of 27~ feet to a point in the center of Rocky River; thence north 460 13, 00" East a distance of ~94.66 feet to a point; thence neath 29° 09' 00" West a diste,~ce of )98.2% feet to a peint~ thence north 60° O~' 00" West a distance of 337 feet to a point~ thence north ?§o 00, 00" West a dista~e of ?%.30 feet to a point~ thence due south a distance of 804.28 feet to the place of Beginning and COntaining ?.219 acres be the ease ~ore si' ~ese Section 3.
