Fairgrieve AN ORDI}~CE to amend Section 2, Section ~ (b), Section 5 (a) and Section 6 (b) of Ordinance No~ 1786 and to emend and supplement said Ordinance No. 1756 by the adoption of new Section 6 (c), kno~a as the Zoning Ordinance, as amended from time to tine, so as to change the classification of uses with respect to hotels to include motels, and to provide other necessary changes and conditions with respect to said classification of uses as hereinafter more specifically set forth° BE IT ORDAI~YED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAK~¥OOD, STATE OF OHIO: lng: Section 1. That that portion of Section 2 of Ordinance No. 1786 now read- "GROUP i ~ RESIDENCE CLASSES "Class la uses: (Dwelling) (1) Dwelling. (2) Church, School, Public Library, Public Nuee~m. (3) Community center building, private club, except a club the chief activity of which is a service carried on as a business, philan- thropic or eleemosynary use or institution other than a penal or correctional institution. (4) Public park, public playground, public recreation building, public water supply reservoir, tower or filter bed. (5) ~Railway passenger station, railway right-of-way, not including railway ya~ ds. (6) Farming, greenhouse, nursery, truck gardening. "Class lb uses: (Apartment ~ouse) (1) Apartment House. (2) Hotel. Class lc uses: (1) Home Occupational Uses. GROUP 2 -- BUSIneSS CLASSES Class 2a uses: (Retail Store) (1) Billboard or advertising sign. (2) Bank, office, telephone exchange, wholesale sales office or sample room, oil filling station, fire or police station, ice delivery station. (3) Retail trade or shop for custom work or the making of articles to be sold at retail on the premises; restaurant; theater; moving picture show; any use not included in any other class, providing such use is not noxious or offensive by reason of the emission of odor, dust, smoke, gas or noise. (~) Garage for sale, storage, service ~ud repair of motor vehicles. (5) Skating r~nk or dance hall, if operated as a business for purposes of private profit.
