ORDINANCE NO. 4§10 BY Mr. Gottermeyer <br /> <br /> AN EME~GENOY ORDINANCE to amend Section 2 of Ordinance No. 47%3 creating <br />the position and fixing the compensation of the Civil Defense Coordinator and <br />repealing original Section 2 of Ordinance Nee ~7%3e <br /> <br /> WHERFAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency in that in the interest <br />of continued efficient organization and operation of civil defense for the public <br />welfare and safety it is deemed necessary to increase said compensation effective <br />March 1, 19%2, and in that this ordinance ~rovides for the usual daily operation <br />of a municipal departmen%j now, therefore, <br /> <br />~ IT ORDAINED BY ~ COUNCZL OF THE C1T~ OF LAXEwO~, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1, That Section 2 of Ordinance ~o, b7%3 cow readings <br /> <br /> .Section 2e That the position of Civil Defense Coordinator is <br />hereby created; that such Coordinator shall be appointed and ~ubJect <br />to removal by the Mayorj and that such Coordinator shall receive <br />compensation at the rate of $%,SOOoO0 per annum payable semi-monthl~ <br />from such ~,~4e as ~ay be appropriated therefor,e <br /> <br />shall be and is hereby amended to read as foll~wss <br /> <br /> "Section 2. That the position of Civil Defense Coordinator is <br />hereby ~reated; that such Coordinator shall Be appointed and subject <br />to removal By the Mayorj and that such Coordinator shall receive <br />compensation at the rate of $%,~60.00 per annum payable semi-monthly <br />from such funds as ~ay be appropriated therefor." <br /> <br /> Section 2e This ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and~ provided it receives the af- <br />firmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council~ it ~hall take <br />effect and Be in force March 1, 1~%2, and original Section 2 of Ordinance Nee <br />4753 shall be and is hereby repealed~ <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br /> ,Wm.
