ORDINANCE NO. 29-58 BY: Messrs. Gottermeyer, Lawther, Ward, Chockley, Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, Gaydos. AN ORDINANCE to amend Section 751.O1 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood to prohibit parking within three feet of the entrance to a private or public driveway. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That SeCtion 751.01 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City ef Lakewood now reading: "751.01 Limitations on parking. No person shall stand, or park a trackless trolley or vehicle except when necessary to avoid conflict with ether traffic or with the provisions of this code, or in compli- ance with the directions of a police officer er a traffic control device, in any of the following places: Iit On a sidewalk, except a bicycle° ~ In front of a public or private driveway° Within an intersection. Within ten feet of a fire hydrant. On a crosswalk. Within twenty feet of a crosswalk at an intersection. ~gl Within thirty feet upon the approach to any flashing beacon, a stop sign or traffic control signal. (h) Between a safety zone and the adjacent curb or within thirty feet of points on the curb immediately op- ~osite the ends of a safety zone, unless a different ength is indicated by a traffic control device. (i) Within fifty feet of the nearest rail or a railroad crossing. (J) Within twenty feet of the driveway entrance to any fire station and on the side of a street opposite the entrance to any fire station within seventy- five feet of said entrance when properly sign- posted. (k) Alongside or opposite any street excavation or ob- struction when such standing, or parking would ob- struct traffic. (1) Alongside any vehicle stopped er parked at the edge or curb of a street. (m~ Upon any bridge or other elevated structure upom a highway or within a highway tunnel. l~l At any place where signs prohibit stopping.
