ORDINANCE NO. 5-59 <br /> <br />BY: Nessrs. <br /> <br />Fairgrieve, Gaydos, <br />~ttermeyer, La~her, <br />Ward, Checkley, <br />Fahrenbach. <br /> <br /> AN ~RGENCY ORDIHANCE approving certain change orders in con- <br />nection with the construction ef the municipal departments and a~min- <br />istratien building. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has heretofore authorized the Hayer, as Director <br />cf Public Works, tc enter into an agreement with Brown Construction <br />Company for the construction efa municipal departments and a~mi~istra- <br />tion building, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Under the terms ef such agreement, there were certain <br />provisions applicable to change orders, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Co~cil desires te take advantage ef certain change <br />orders provided in such agreement, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The completion of said municipal departments and a~min- <br />istration b~lding is desirable at the earliest possible time, and <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, The adoption ef this ordinance atthe earliest possible <br />time is necessary for the preservation cf the public peace, property, <br />health er safety, and that it provides for the usual daily operation <br />of a mmnicipal department, new, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. ~at the items described in B~letin Ne. 2, prepared <br />by Garfield, Harris, 8chafer, Flynn & Williams, Architects, be ad~ed <br />to the ecntrac~ hereinbefore entered into ~y the City with the Brewm <br />Construction Company, with reference tc the construction efa municipal <br />departments and a~ministratie~ building at 12650 Detroit Avenue, <br />Lakeweod, Ohio, and that the net cost ef th~ change or,ers contained <br />in said Bulletin Ne. 2 is in the ameer ef <br /> <br /> ~ecticn 2. That the Mayor, as Director ef Public Works, is <br />hereby authorize8 and directed to approve said change crders. <br /> <br /> Section ~. That the net cost ef such change orders, inthe <br />amount ef $2,~36.O0, be finance~ cut of the proceeds ef the sale <br />the municipal ~epartments amd a~ministration building ben~s. <br /> <br /> Section 4.
