Tke Board of County Commiss1øners of Cuyahoga e:ounty <br />have tentative¡y approved a program of road const ruction and improve- <br />ment fer the year 1959. and <br /> <br />WEREAS. Two of the projects proposed to be improved are city <br />streets udalso county roads known as lI'Iadison Aven~e from West 117th <br />Street to Riverside Brive. and Bunts Road from Lakewood Heights B(i)~evard <br />to Detroit Aven~e. both in the City of Lakewood. and <br /> <br />WHEREAS. Tkis ordinuce is declared to Be an emergency for the <br />reason that the condition of s~ch roads is s~eh as to inconvenience. <br />endanger alld delay p~blic travel thereon. and tl1at such roads require <br />immediate improvement thereof; for the reason aforesaid. it is necessary <br />to proceed forthwith in order to eomplete the improvement of said roads <br />d~ing the present year. and for the reason that it provides for tl1e <br />maintenance sf the publie property. health and safety and the usual <br />daily operation of a m~icipal departme~t. now. therefore. <br /> <br />BE IT 0RDAINEÐ BY THE C@UNGIL @F THE CITY @F LAKEW0G>D. <br /> <br />STATE @F <br /> <br />OHI0: <br /> <br />Section 1. The Board of Co~ty Oommissioners of tl1e G0UNTY and the <br />Gøuncil of the CITY by its Ordinance of Consent No. <br />adopted øn the day of 1959. håve mutually agreed <br />by anG!. betweem. themselves to improve tl1e following Oounty roads: <br />Madison Avenue between West 117th street and Riverside Drive and <br />Bunts Road between Lakewood Heights Boulevard and Detrøit Avenue. <br />by resurfacing the existi~g pavements with aspl1altic concrete all <br />in accordance with the plans. specifieations and estimates pre- <br />pared by the Engineer for the ßOUNTY. <br /> <br />WHEREAS. The Board of Oo~ty Commissioners o£ the CO~NTY with the <br />cøoperation of the OITY has agreed to improve the beforementioned <br />roads. <br />
