ORDINANCE NO. 50-59 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Ward, Chockley, <br /> Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, <br /> Gaydos, Gottermeyer, <br /> Lawther. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor as Director of <br />Public Works to enter into agreement to purchase special equipment <br />for the Municipal Departments and Administration B~lding and author- <br />izing the payment therefor fram the Public Improvement Fund. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency in that items <br />of special manufacture are req~red to properly eqump departments <br />of the City A~ministration B~lding, and in that it provides for <br />the immediate preservation ef the public service, and, <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, delay will deter the efficiency of operation of <br />Municipal Departments, now, therefore <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CO~CIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Mayor as Director of Public Works be and <br />he is hereby authorized to enter into agreement to purchase special <br />eq~pment for the Municipal Departments and Administration B~lding, <br />after approval of Council. <br /> <br /> Section 2~ That the net cost of such material and equipment <br />be financed out of the Public Improvement Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this Ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayer. <br /> <br />Adopted:August <br /> <br />Thomas C.
