ORDINANCE NO. 57-59 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Checkley, Fahrenbach, <br /> Fairgrieve, Gaydos, <br /> Gettermeyer, Law, her, <br /> Ward. <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE establishing a schedule ef charges to be made for <br />services furnished by the record reom~of the Division of Police. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Public Safety, thromgh the <br />record bureau of the Division of Police, is hereby authorized to make <br />and collect the hereinafter provided charges for the following services: <br /> <br />A) For verifax copies <br /> <br />of police reports <br /> <br />$1.00 per page, beth <br />sides, or any portion <br />thereof <br /> <br />Record checks made for anyone <br />other than law enforcement <br />agencies or federal agencies <br /> <br />$1.©0 each <br /> <br />Fingerprints <br />Photographs <br /> <br />E) Clearamce letters <br /> <br />$2.00 for each card <br /> <br />$2.00 for each phot- <br />ograph <br /> <br />$2.00 for each letter <br /> <br /> No reports or records referring to damage done by or to the City <br />of Lakewood, or by or to its police officers, shall be furnished to any- <br />one ether than to the Law Department of the City of Lakeweod. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Except in cases referring to damage done by or to <br />the City of Lakewoed, or by or te its police officers, the above list <br />of services shall, upon prepayment of the fee aforesaid, be available <br /> <br />1. All principals involved. <br />2. Bonafide representatives of such persons involved. <br />3. Attorneys representing any persons involved. <br /> Insurance representatives whose companies ha~e a <br /> personal interest in any of the parties by having <br /> some person involved in the accident insured with <br /> that company. <br />5- Authorized company representatives whose company have <br /> a personal interest in the police records of individ- <br /> uals seeking prospective employment. <br /> <br /> Section 3. Said Director of Public Safety shall establish ap- <br />propriate rules for the issuance ef said copies. <br /> <br /> Section 4. All fees collected shall be paid to the Director ef <br />Finance at end of each calendar month. <br /> <br /> Section 5.
