<br />" <br /> <br />" <br /> <br />Bennett, Gaydos, <br />HUffman, Usher, <br />Ward, Wendling. <br /> <br />Messrs. <br /> <br />BY: <br /> <br />2-65 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />""'.\. <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend section 525.13 <br />of the Business Regulation Code of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of Lakewood relating to hours of operation of billiard <br />rooms and bowling alleys. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public <br />peace and safety and for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />CITY OF <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />LAKE WOOD , <br /> <br />Section 1 That section 525.13 of the Business <br />Reguaation Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood, now reading as follows: <br /> <br />Hours of Operation <br /> <br />"It shall be unlawful for any person, society, <br />club, firm or corporation to operate a bil- <br />liard room or bowling alley between the hours <br />of 12:00 o'clock midnight and 7:00 o'clock <br />A.M. or to harbor or permit any person or <br />persons to be or remain in any such billiard <br />room or bowling alley any day of the week <br />between the hours of 12:00 o'clock midnight <br />and 7:00 A.M. Any billiard room or bowling <br />alley may be open for business on Sunday only <br />between the hours of 12:00 o'clock Noon and <br />11,00 o'clock P.M. This section, however, <br />shall not be construed to prevent regular <br />employees from performing necessary work <br />within the premises.
