<br />WHEREAS, ~he Charter of the City of Lakewood provides that
<br />the Board of ~rustees of Lakewood Hospital shall employ such em-
<br />ployees as the Board deems necessary and fix their compensation,
<br />subject to the approval of Council, and,
<br />
<br />has
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, ~he Board of ~rustees of Lakewood Hospital
<br />created certain positions and fixed salaries of employees of
<br />Lakewood Hospital, and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, An emergency exists for the immediate preserva-
<br />tion of the public peace, property, health or safety and to pro-
<br />vide for the usual daily operation of a municipal departmentj
<br />now, therefore,

<br />Section 1. ~hat the compensation fixed for employees of
<br />the Lakewood Hospital, as recommended by the Board of Trustees
<br />of the Lakewood Hospital on March 23, 1965, be and the same is
<br />hereby approved by this Council and shall be fixed by the Board of
<br />Trustees within the following schedule:
