Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, ORDINANCE NO. 80-65 BY: Huffman, Usher, Ward, Wendling, Bennett. AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE declaring the building or structure located at 1325-27 Cohassett Place, Lakewood, Ohio, to be structurally unsafe and defective~ unsanitary, a fire hazard, or otherwise dangerous to human life, beyond repair, and a public nuisance, and authorizing the Mayor, as Acting Building Commissioner, to cause the same to be razed; and authorizing and directing the exertion ora contract therefor, WHEREAS, The Acting Building Commissioner, under the provisions of Sections 1603o50 to 1603.56, both inclusive, of theBuilding Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, has determined that the herein described building or s~ructure is structurally unsafe ~d defective, unsanitary, a fire hazard, or otherwisedangerous to human life, beyond repair, and a public nuisance; and, WHEREAS, After said determination the owner of said building or structure was notified by the appropriate official as provided by the aforesaid authorizing sections and said owner has refused or failed ~o comply with said notice; and, WHEREAS, The Acting Building Commissioner has auth- orized the demolition and removal of said structure or building; and, WHE~S, This ordinance Constitutes an emergency measure in that said structure or building involves immediate danger to human life or health, constitutes a~ public nuisance detrimental to the public health, safety and welfare requiring the immediate elimination thereof, and in order to provide for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the structure or building known as 1325-27 Cohassett Place, LakewoOd, Ohio and more fully described as the structure or building located on the following premises: Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, and being part of Original Rockport Township Section Noo 21 and further bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a point in the Easterly line of a parcel of land owned by the Lakewood Board of Education, which point is distant South along said Easterly line 42.88 ft. from the Southerly line of the New York Central and Sro Louis Railroad right of way 66 feet wide, at a point distant westerly on Baid Southerly?line about 230.08 feet from the Westerly line of Thoreau Road°
