ORDINANCE NO. 89-65 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Gaydos, Huffman, <br /> Usher, Ward, <br /> Bennett, Cain. <br /> <br /> ~ EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appro- <br />priations for expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State <br />of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1965. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists to provide for the <br />im~aediate preservation of the public property, health and <br />safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That there be appropriated from the <br />Equipment Depreciation Fund $140,000.00. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director ~ Finance be and is <br />hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories <br />for the amount appropriated in this ordiuance whenever claims <br />are presented properly approved by the head of the department <br />for which the indebtedness is incurred, provided the <br />President of Council shall approve all claims of the City <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the <br />preamble, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:, December 20~ 196~ <br /> <br />John Gaydos, <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />App=oved:-_pegember 22~ 1965 <br /> <br />.......... ~ary.
