Huffman~ Ke~ley~ usher & <br /> Wendling. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE:determining to proceed'by contract <br />~ith the furnishing and erecting of an Industrial Refuse <br />Incinerator. ., <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council heretofore, on the 4th day of April, <br />1966, adopted a motion authorizing the Director of Public Work~ <br />to advertise for bids for the construction of an Industrial <br />Refuse Incinerator, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, One bid was received pursuant to said. advertise- <br />ment by the Director of Public Works, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Thereafter, the Director of Public Works advertis- <br />ed for separate bids for the furnishing of an incinerator and for <br />the erection thereof, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, No bids were received as the result of said <br />advertisement, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Director of Public Works has requested <br />authority to proceed by contract with the lowest best bidder to <br />furnish and erect said RefUse Incinerator, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency, measure <br />in that it provides for the immediate preservationof.the public <br />health, safety and welfare and for the usual daily operation of <br />a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY'~THECOUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That this Council hereby determines to proceed <br />by contract, with the construction of the Industrial Refuse <br />Incinerator. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
