ORDINANCE NO. 76-66 BY: <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCYORDINANCE authorizing settlement <br />of the claim of Chris Elenniss in the total amount of Nine <br />Hundred and Forty-two Dollars and Fifty Cents (942.50), arising <br />o~t of a sewer blockage in front of his home at 16~09-11 Hilliard <br />Road, Lakewood, Ohio~ on March I0, 1966. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This'ordinance constitutes anemergeney <br />measure in that it may save the City from further expense and <br />possible litigation and that it provides for the immediate <br />settlement of said claim and in that it provides for the usual <br />daily operation of.a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEW00D, ST~E OF OHI0: <br /> <br /> Sec~tion l, That settlement of the claim of <br />Chris Elenniss in the total amount of Nine Hundred and Forty-two <br />Dollars and Fifty Cents (~942o50) is hereby ordered and authOriz- <br />ed conditioned upon the execution and delivery by the said Chris <br />Elenniss of a full release in favor of the City of ~akewood duly <br />approved by the Director of Law. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and <br />he is hereby authorized to pay the sUm of Nine Hundred and Forty- <br />two Dollars and Fifty Cents (9942.50) to Chris Elenniss upon <br />delivery to the Director of Finance of the foregoing release, <br />duly executed and approved and to charge the same to the <br />Sewer Appropriation of the General Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 3, That this ordinance is hereby <br />declared to be an emergency measure for the teas:ohs stated in the <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council it shall take effect <br />and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved: <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
