Huffman, U~her, <br /> ~ard, ~end~l~g~ Cain <br /> <br /> A~ EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor on behalf <br />of the City of Lakewood, Ohio~ ~o enter into an agreement with <br />Board of County Commzssioners of Cuyahoga County for the resurfaciD,[ <br />of West lt7th Street (Highland Avenue) from Lake Avenue ~o Madison <br />Avenue in the .City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Cuyahoga <br />County has tentatively approved a program of road construction~and <br />improvement for the year 1968~ and, <br /> <br /> ~rHEREAS, One of the projects proposed to be improVe~! <br />are the city street and also the county road known as West ll7th <br />Street (Highland Avenue) from Lake Avenue to Madison Avenue, and~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ This ordinance constituhes an eDergency <br />~'~easure in that it provides for the immediate preservation of the <br />public health, safety and welfare and for the asuai daily operation <br />of a municipal department; now~ therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA] <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1, That the.
