ORDINANCE NO. 57-67 BY~e~srs. Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley Usher, Ward and WendlinE AN EMERGENCY OR/)INANCE approving certain Change Orders in connection with the Contract for the construction of the Lake~vood ~unicipa] Parking Garage Building~ WHEREAS, Council has heretofore authorized the Director of Public Works to enter into an Agreement with Wilson Bennett, Incorporated for 'the construction of the Lakewood Municipal Parking Garage Building, andt WHEREAS, Under the terms construction of this facility, were required, and, of such Agreement, and in the certain changes and additions WHEREAS, The Council desires to take advantage of certain changes in Construction Agreement ii1 order to in,rove design arrangements, and, WHEREAS, The completion of the building and occupancy thereof is desirable at the earliest possible time, and~ WHEREAS, The adoption of this Ordinance at the earliest possible time is necessary for the preservation of %he Public peace, property, health or safety and that it provides for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the follo%ging items be added ~o the total price of the Contract hereinbefore entered into by the City with Wilson Bennett, Incorporated, with reference to the construction of the Lakewood Municipal Parking Garage Building, Lakewood, Ohio: 1. Add one Coinmaster II Unit and one G-89 Automatic $1~481.00 83.00 260.00 Gate to the Belle Avenue exit lane. 2. To enlarge electrical distribution room. 3. To add a roof ventilator. 4. Extra work Mayer Corporation invoice of 11/11/66 to break out beam pockets° 60.00 5. Additional reinforcing steel from columns to floor slabo 500.21 6. To grout steel pins in column seats., 765.06 7o Add Durawall to block wall. 145o00 8o To add bird mesh in louvre. 25.00 9. To raise exterior door in Stair Tower ~o~ l~ 598.95 10. To delete glazed brick on stair acwers, add unglazed brick, and two coats of silicone waterproofing° 220.00 TOTAL $4,138.22 Section 2.
