ORDINANCE NOo ~a-67 BY:Messrs. Ca~n, Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward and ~,~endling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE approving certain Change Order in connection with the Contract for the electrical work of the Lakewood Municipal Parking Garage Building. WHEREAS, Council has heretofore authorized the Director of Public Works to enter into an agreement with The Doan Electric Company for the electrical work of the Lakewood Municipal Parking Garage Building, and, WHEREAS, Under the terms of such Agreement, and in the electrical work of this facility, certain changes and additions were required, and, WHEREAS, The Council desires to take advantage of certain changes in the Electrical Agreement in order to improve design arrangements, and, WHEREAS, The completion of the building and occupancy thereof is desirable at the earliest possible time, and, WHEREAS, The adoption of this ordinance at the earliest possible time is necessary for the preservation of the Public peace, property, health or safety and that it provides for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the following items be added to the total price of the Contract hereinbefore entered into by the City with the Doan Electric Company with reference to tile electrical work of the Lakewood Municipal Parking Garage Building, Lakewood, Ohio: 1. Relocation of the electric distribution room° $ 839o31 2. Installation of elevator safety switches. 245.33 TOTAL $1,084.64 Section 2. That the following change which results in a credit to the City be deducted from the total price of the Contract hereinbefore entered into by the City with The Doan Electric Company with reference to the electrical work of the Lakewood Municipal Parking Garage Building, Lakewood, Ohio: CREDIT: 1o Oraission of the Gartek Sound System. $365.00 TOTAL $365.00 TOTAL Ct~.A~G51 O!C0?SR $719.64
