Usher, Ward, Wendlin£ <br /> Gaydos, Graber, Huffman, Kell~ <br /> <br />AN EP~RGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and fixing salaries of <br />certain annual-salaried employees of the City of Lakewood com- <br />mencing January 29, 1968 and amending Ordinance No. 49-67 adopted <br />August 22, 1967. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br />viding for the usual daily operation of a municipal department <br />in that in the interest of public service, welfare and safety, <br />it is necessary to fix the compensation of certain annual- <br />salaried employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Positions are hereby created and the compensation <br />of certain annual-salaried employees of the City of Lakewood <br />shall be as follows, effective January 29, 1968. <br /> <br />MAYOR'S OFFICE <br /> <br /> Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />$6,000.00 <br /> <br />FINANCE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> Director of Finance <br /> <br />$13,500.00 <br /> <br />LAW DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> Assistant Director of Law <br /> Assistant Prosecutor <br /> <br />$8,240.00 <br />$7,500.00 <br /> <br />MISCELLANEOUS <br /> <br /> Clerk of Council <br /> <br />$900.00 <br /> <br />Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated i~ the preamble hereof <br />and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor, <br />and Ordinam©e 49-67 adopted August 22, 1967 is hereby amended <br />accordingly. <br /> <br />Adopted~e,b. ru. ary 5, 19.6.8 <br /> <br />Robert E.
